My dad turned 60 years old this past April 6th and my mom threw a great party for him! A great group of friends just started showing up, surprising him every few minutes with a new face! It was such a big turn out that Wyatt was convinced people just saw the lights on in the house and came in, that Pappa didn't actually know ALL of these people. But for me, it was really heart warming to see all of my dad's friends make time out of their busy schedules to wish my dad a happy birthday and to honor him!
Mom came up with the idea for this cake and I asked to give it a try. It was a lot of fun to make (that'll be another post!).
