What I am Thinking When I am Cleaning at 6:30 in the Morning:

Thank heavens for the Go Gos to keep me dusting.

Be honest, when you walk in my house, is all you smell is dog? Honestly?

How many calories do I burn from cleaning the toilet?

The Ghost Adventure Crew leaves for another lockdown today. Hope this weather won't delay their flight. (Note that I am so obsessed with these guys, that I'm concerned for them as though I really know them. I have a problem.)

Does anyone know a good way to get that gook around your faucet cleaned off?

Scriptures read, check, workout, check, dusting, check, bathrooms, check. Waking up at 4 am has its payoffs. I'll probably crash by noon.

Happy Valentine's Day

It looks like allowing your husband to go to Reno for a hunting convention (yes, they have things called hunting conventions) has its advantages. For Valentine's Day, my incredibly charming husband got my this gorgeous set of earrings and necklace made from my favorite gemstone, Larimar.

Byron's gift from me? A plate of cookies. Hmmm, they better be some darn good cookies.

Bite on This!

Wyatt had his first trip to the dentist yesterday, and as he always does with doctors, he did terrific! He's never been scared of doctors. This is the kid that actually thanked a nurse for giving him a shot. I think it almost made that nurse cry. We've also been really lucky with good doctors in this town. I've come across people that believe Vegas doesn't have any good doctors, and I've decided its the negative attitude of the patients, and not so much the doctors. But that's just me. Anyway, Wyatt's first visit was great, his teeth are spaced perfectly, I was told, and there were no cavities. I was nervous about that because that would have been my fault, not the kid's! I, too, was paying a visit to the dentist, the first time in over 5 years (so sad). So we were really lucky that Grammy showed up when she did, because they decided to do us at the same time, and Grammy was a big help with Wyatt, as the dentist took off my lower retainer of over 20 years and grounded the 1/2 inch of composite off. I feel like I have fangs now and should be in a Twilight movie. (Side note, totally unrelated: I finally checked out Twilight, and I just can't get myself to sit down and read it. I'm sorry. I tried reading the preface, and I can't even get passed that. Is there something wrong with me? OK, I just turned this post back to all about me. Sorry, Wyatt!)

So, Wyatt did great. They examined his teeth, tried an x-ray, but his mouth was too small, and did a little cleaning. He got stickers and we celebrated with a play-date at Grammy's (I was still having my teeth grounded into fangs) and lunch at Red Velvet Cafe. Then the afternoon was concluded with a trip to Walgreens for a Z-pak for my cold, and a lovely nap!

So YUDU think I'm going crazy!

I have figured out this YUDU thing. Byron and I designed shirts for his mini-family reunion. I'll go into more detail how I did it on my digi blog, but here are some pictures of those shirts, and the the gazillion other shirts I've been making for Wyatt. Its my new obsession. I can't wait to show you his Valentine's Day shirt! That'll be coming soon! Oh, and I have to just say, Byron was dying to take just one try at the YUDU. That's why he's doing the reunion shirts. He did it, and now (I hope) it should be out of his system!

Glows in the dark!

One of Wyatt's awesome phrases he likes to say!
