I know several of you have asked questions about my pregnancy, and I'll answer them soon enough.  But for now, I'm going to relax, enjoy my Christmas tree, and enjoy all my many blessings.  I hope you do the same.

Wyatt's Thanksgiving Announcement

So there was another reason why I was excited for Thanksgiving this year.  Wyatt had some special news to share with the family.  Here's the video.  Just in case the audio is hard to hear, I added captions of our favorite phrases that were said.



Yep, you heard it right.  And if you know us at all, you'll know what an incredible freakin' miracle this is.  If you don't know our story and you want to know, here's the blog I wrote last year about our struggles.

Turkey Sucks.

I have never been a fan of Thanksgiving.  Being an only child and not really having a relationship with my cousins or extended family, holidays like Thanksgiving were kind of boring.  You sat at a table with all adults, and ate lots of food.  Whoopdeedoo.  Even as an adult, binging on bland turkey and soggy stuffing was not my idea of a good time (sorry to my family members who have cooked in years past).  This year is different though.  For some reason, I am really excited for Thanksgiving.  I think its because I am having it at my house this year.  I feel like I have a purpose this Thanksgiving, where before I was basically just told when to show up and to "bring the rolls."  By nature, I am a planner.  So this Thanksgiving' menu has been planned in my mind for about a month now.  And we're having Prime Rib, dang it!  Not bland dry turkey like what you'll be having, so have have fun with that! 

The Man That Had Blood

Please excuse the morbid title of this post, but that was the title of a story Wyatt started rattling off to me the other day.  It all started when he found a coloring page of the story of the Good Samaritan that I was printing off for my lesson this Sunday.  He colored it and asked if I wanted to hear the story about it, which, of course, I said yes.  This story went a good 5 minutes and was filled with drama and excitement.  Sadly, it wasn't until the last minute or so that I glanced and saw my camera nearby.  I had to be very sneaky, because I knew the minute Wyatt discovered I would be recording him, the story would end.  So I acted like I was cleaning the camera and just holding it, while it taped the dramatic ending to Wyatt's story, "That Man That Had Blood."
