Its our tradition that everyone gets their own pumpkin to carve. Byron always has to be the artistic one. He'll sit and stare at his pumpkin forever until he decides on that first cut. Wyatt's bear shirt from Mt. Rainier became Byron's inspiration this year! As for Wyatt, we discussed what shape he wanted his eyes, nose, and mouth. Then I let him draw it with the Sharpee and we cut it together. My very clean child REFUSED to touch the pumpkin guts! So that job was left for me! Even the dogs get their own jack o' lanterns! By the time every one's pumpkin is carved, I just try to whip out the quickest face possible on mine! But we made sure to make enough time for a photo shoot with our creations in the backyard!
