Halloween Parties

We're so lucky to have friends that think to invite us to their fun little shin digs. The staff at Candil Hall, my old stomping ground, invited up to their carnival. We got all gussied up in our pirate gear and Wyatt and I headed down for some good old fashioned fun with carnival booths and goodies. It was great seeing old friends. I miss the staff at Candil Hall, but the having to work every day, um...not so much!
Then our awesome friends down the street, the Corbetts, invited us over for some yummy chili with family and friends, before trick or treating. I love the "Trunk "R Treat" thing and I get the safety of it all, but growing up, we loved going from neighborhood to neighborhood, seeing our friends and family and all the costumes. So I love the fact that we live in a neighborhood that we can do that. We kind of know the houses to stay away from, but we've really started making friendships with our neighbors and its fun to see them on such a great night. After making a quick stop to see my parents at their Trunk R' Treat, we were super happy to come back home and find the party still going on with our friends down the street. So we hung out the rest of the evening stealing our kids candy, just visiting with neighbors, enjoying our little block party!

How cute are the little pirate buddies! I think a photo shoot at the Treasure Island is in order!
