I like to think of Wyatt as a trendsetter, but who knew it would be sooo hard to find Rocketship party accessories! We went to the party store and could not find one silly think with a rocket, or a spaceman, or an alien. Nothin'! Guess we'll have to make our own. Here's our cupcakes!
Byron almost got into some really big trouble! He always puts the Pampered Chef measuring cup together backwards, and I always have to fix it. Well, this time, I forgot. And before I knew it, I was pouring in almost 2 cups of water into the cake mix instead of 1 1/4 cup! I added some more flour, cocoa, and an extra egg for good measure and crossed my fingers. I loved how the cupcakes turned out! This lifted better, they we're cute and chubby! Who knew! You're off the hook this time Byron!
With my cricut, we made our own rocket cupcake toppers. We cut them out of cardstock, then Wyatt and I inked them with white and silver ink to give them some texture. I think I inked the edges with black too. Then we taped them to toothpicks.
They make awesome icing these days! Everything is in a can! We twirled on some icing, then used a blue food coloring spray to make it look like outer space! Wyatt added the colorful stars!
