Random Thoughts

Just some things I've been thinking about...

  • Saw "I Am Legend" with Will Smith this weekend. Why do they have to kill the dog? For some reason I can handle watching a person die in a movie, but if the story makes you create a relationship with a dog, and then they kill it, I get so sad. I just clung on to Duke for dear life during that part. The other part of that movie that bothered me, though I enjoy suspense and thrills, I don't handle them well. I held my breath for the entire movie because I just knew some scary zombie was going to jump out screaming at any moment. Good movie, I just don't think my body can take watching it again (or poor Duke's ears, every time a zombie came out and would pull harder on that dog's ears. Surprised they are still attached.) Where was Da Vinci, you ask? That old fart went to his kennel to sleep hours before the movie started.

  • So, so, so glad I'm not going to work tomorrow, or the next day, or the next day... Good luck to my teacher friends!

  • I am headed to Creative Escape (big scrapbook weekend of classes and other fun stuff) in AZ with my friend Ginger next week. Very excited but little worried since I don't know what to expect. I don't want to feel inadequate about working around all these incredibly talented people with just my "ok" stuff. I need to get over my insecurities.

  • I hate it when someone tells me to do something, when in my head, I'm already going to do it. Why do people have the need to tell me what to do? That must of happened three times today alone!

  • I need to lose weight. My eating is just getting out of control, and now I have a stomach ache. I love the taste of food too dang much!

I told you these thoughts were random. No rhyme or reason, just what was in my head!

Wow...my thoughts exactly! I bawled like a baby when the dog died in I am Legend. Kids and Pets do it for me every time. I'm excited about CE too....just need to get ready!

Suzanne covered her eyes and ears for almost half of that movie. She is not so good with the scary things. Im proud that you even watched it.
